Meet

Let’s meet to discuss your requirements at this obligation free meeting. We will go through your broad brief to get a feeling for your requirements, site constraints, feasibility and budget.

Fee proposal

Based on the information you provided at our meeting we will prepare a detailed fee proposal. This free proposal will give details on the process and all the inclusions.

Acceptance

Once you sign off on the fee proposal, we will most likely need to meet again to discuss your brief in more detail. The more details we discuss and you provide the more accurate the end result will be.

Survey

Before we can start designing, we will require a feature and re-establishment survey, which is completed by a licenced Land Surveyor. At the time of the Land surveyor being onsite we will be there too, to get an appreciation of the site and character of the area.

Sketch

This is where all the magic happens! We start to translate your brief into a conceptual sketch deign with the intention of exceeding your expectations. This sketch will include a site plan, floor plans and front façade.

Refinement

We will catch up and discuss the design in detail. This is where we can answer any of your questions or discuss possible refinements to the sketch. This may include further meetings, phone conversations or interactions via email.

Go Ahead

Town Planning

If Townplanning is required, we will prepare a detailed application for submission to council. This may include meeting with council to address any concerns and to make sure you get the best result. This is a length process, so some patience is required!

Working Drawings

We prepare detailed technical Working Drawings, to firstly get you a building permit though a Building Surveyor and more importantly for your builder to turn our design into reality.

Consultants

To prepare your application for the various approvals required, we engage respected consultants to do what they do best. These consultants will be engaged during different stages through the process and may include various engineers, planners, Surveyors, Arborists or Energy Raters.

Builder

We are not builders but happy to recommend a suitable registered builder that is suitable for your project. We advise our clients to get at least three building quotes to get a good comparison.

Build

Start building your project designed and documented by our team. Obviously, we will be here to provide further advice and answer any query the builder may have.
